Hace tan solo un par de semanas se estrenó el nuevo restaurante del Grupo Le Cocó: Giulietta (Plaza de Manuel Rodrigo, 7 – 28043 Madrid), un restaurante de cocina tradicional italiana, que al igual que su hermana Fellina, al que ya hemos ido a disfrutar de sus deliciosos platos, este rebosa en frescura, tradición, sabor y esplendor italiano en todos los sentidos.
Giulietta mantiene el concepto de una trattoria a la que se va a comer bien y contundente, y esto último es cierto, ir con hambre es un must. Todos sus productos son frescos. Pastas y pizzas caseras en todas sus versiones, incluso hay algunos platos icónicos de Fellina que también podrás disfrutar en este ambiente un poco más familiar y de barrio.
Entre los platos que triunfan están los Spaghetti alla Carbonara Originale siguiendo la receta auténtica romana y preparados en mesa, la Melanzane Parmigiana o la Pizza Napoletana Fritta; pastas rellenas (Fazzoletto ripieno di Zucca, Biscotto Amaretto e Parmigano o Raviolo Nero Ripieno di Baccalá con Salsa Verde e Bottarga); platos de cuchara (Risotto Nero con Calamari e Polipetti o con Burrata e Salsiccia), y postres artesanales (imprescindibles el Tiramisú, el Fagottino alla Nutella y la Pannacotta al Cioccolato), con opciones igualmente apetecibles para niños, vegetarianos y celiacos.
En cuanto a la decoración, da la impresión de estar en plena Toscana con detalles como el verde pistacho, la transparencia y la luz; los bodegones gigantes con peperoncino, aglio e pomodoro secco; calabazas, mazorcas de maíz, naranjas y limones; lavanda, tomillo y girasoles, y vitrinas decoradas con pasta multicolor, hierbas aromáticas y aceite de oliva. Realmente te sientes a gusto desde el momento que pasas por la puerta.
Nosotros hemos probado de entrante la Melanzane Parmigiana (Berenjenas a la parmesana), Vitello tonnato (Finas lonchas de ternera acompañadas de alcaparras) y Fiori di zucchina (Flores de calabacín en tempura con mayonesa de ajo asado y albahaca). Luego de principal compartimos Spaghetti al tartufo, parmigiano e uovo poché (Espagueti con trufa, queso parmesano y huevo poché) y Pizza diavola e scamorza affumicata (Pizza diavola y scamorza ahumada) todo acompañado de un excepcional vino blanco Falanghina Sannio Dop 100% Falanghina (Campania). Y de postre pedimos la Crostata della casa y el Fagottino alla Nutella, un saquito de Nutella que Manu se comió sin dejar rastro.
Realmente pasamos una velada muy bonita, en un ambiente espectacular y con una comida y servicio que nos dejaron sin palabras. Os recomendamos visitar esta nueva propuesta que nos ofrece el Grupo Le Cocó.

Just a couple of weeks ago, the new restaurant of the Le Cocó Group, Giulietta opened (Manuel Rodrigo Plaza, 7 – 28043 Madrid), a traditional Italian restaurant, which like its sister Fellina, to which we have already gone to enjoy their delicious cuisine, Giulietta brims with freshness, tradition, flavor and Italian splendor in every way.
Giulietta maintains the concept of a trattoria where you are going to eat well and will not leave hungry, therefore we recommend going with a healthy appetite. All their products are fresh, you will find homemade pastas and pizzas in all their versions, there are even some iconic Fellina dishes that you can also enjoy in their new restaurant. The environment here at Giulietta is a little more family orientated and cozier.
Among the dishes that triumph are the Spaghetti alla Carbonara Originale following the authentic Roman recipe and prepared straight in front of your eyes at the table; the Melanzane Parmigiana or the Pizza Napoletana Fritta; filled pastas like the Fazzoletto ripieno di Zucca, Biscotto Amaretto e Parmigano or Raviolo Nero Ripieno di Baccalá with Salsa Verde e Bottarga; you will also find spoon dishes such as the Risotto Nero with Calamari e Polipetti or Burrata e Salsiccia, and artisan desserts like their famous Tiramisu, the Fagottino alla Nutella and the Pannacotta al Cioccolato. As I mentioned it´s quite family orientated you will find equally appetizing options for children, vegetarians and celiac.
As for the decoration, you get the impression of being in full Tuscan region, with details such as pistachio green, rustic tables and lighting with giant decorations with peperoncino, aglio and pomodoro secco, pumpkins, ears of corn, oranges and lemons; lavender, thyme and sunflowers everywhere, and cabinets decorated with multicolored pasta, aromatic herbs and olive oil. You really feel at ease from the moment you walk through the door.
We started off with the Melanzane Parmigiana (Eggplant parmigiana), Vitello tonnato (thin slices of beef accompanied of capers) and Fiori di zucchina (Zucchini flowers in tempura with roasted garlic mayonnaise and basil). We shared the mains, a Spaghetti al tartufo, parmigiano e uovo poché (Spaghetti with truffle, parmesan cheese and poached egg) and Pizza diavola e scamorza affumicata (Pizza diavola and smoked scamorza) all accompanied by an exceptional white wine Falanghina sannio dop 100% Falanghina (Campania). And for dessert we ordered the Crostata della casa and the Fagottino alla Nutella, a bag of Nutella that Manu barely shared at all.
We are sure you will enjoy all the food and will want to make it your typical Sunday lunch place with the family.We really had a very beautiful evening, in a spectacular atmosphere and with a meal and service that left us speechless.
