Hay sitios por los que siempre pasas, pero por alguna razón no te aventuras a entrar. Hace poco tuvimos la excusa perfecta, nos visitaba una amiga de Estados Unidos y sabíamos exactamente a dónde había que llevarla: WANDA CAFÉ. Un espacio ideal para cualquier momento del día, sea desayuno, merienda, comida o cena – o incluso una copa afterwork este es el sitio ideal.
Se definen como: “… cuando entras a Wanda te transportas al universo emocional de las vacaciones, el verano y todo lo positivo que sientes en esos meses del año. En Wanda siempre sale el sol, siempre hay muy buen rollo”, ¡y no podría estar más de acuerdo!
¡Nosotros comenzamos la noche pidiendo una copita de cava para celebrar la compañía como se debe! Digamos que esta amistad se basa en la linda filosofía de “Save water, drink champagne!”. Para compartir pedimos de entrantes las delicias de brie con confitura de fresa y albaricoque; la ensalada de sashimi con salmón, atún, aguacate, mango, mézclum, algas wakame, pepino y salsa wafu; y por último la ensalada burrata con tomate rúcula, tapenade y trufa – totalmente espectacular todo.
De plato principal obviamente decidimos compartirlo todo también, así que pedimos el ceviche de vieira (recomendación de la casa) con lubina, gambas y chips de plátano – MUNDIAL. Luego el magré de pato con soufflé de patata y mermelada de tomate con naranja – ESPECTACULAR. Y por último, la famosa pizza de boletus… honestamente qué más se puede pedir para una buena noche rodeada de buena compañía, un sitio espectacular con comida deliciosa.
Ya sabéis cómo somos, siempre decimos que no somos muy dulceros, pero… cómo decirle que no a un buen postre, así que por recomendación de la casa nos deleitamos una rica degustación que incluía: la tarta milhojas de dulce de leche, la deliciosísima cookie especial Wanda y para mí el plato más impresionante: la Luna Llena, una esfera de plata con sopa de fresón tierra de cerveza negra y helado de menta.

There are places you always go by, but for some reason or another never venture in. Recently we had the perfect excuse, a friend from the US visited us, and we knew exactly where to take her: WANDA CAFÉ.
An ideal space for any time of the day, be it breakfast, snack, lunch or dinner – or even an afterwork drink this is the ideal place.
They define themselves as “… when you enter Wanda you are transported to the emotional universe of vacations, summer and all the positive things you feel during those months of the year. In Wanda the sun always rises, there is always a good vibes ”, and I couldn’t agree more!
We started the night with a glass of champagne to celebrate the company as it should! Let’s say this friendship is based on the beautiful philosophy of «Save water, drink champagne!»
To start we ordered the “Brie delights” with strawberry jam and apricot, the sashimi salad with salmon, tuna, avocado, mango, lettuce, wakame seaweed, cucumber and wafu sauce and the burrata salad with arugula tomato, tapenade and truffle – totally spectacular everything.
For mains we decided to share everything too, so we ordered the scallop ceviche (house recommendation) with sea bass, shrimp and banana chips – WORLDWIDE.
The duck breast with potato souffle and tomato jam with orange – SPECTACULAR.
And the famous boletus pizza … honestly what else can you ask for a good night surrounded by good company, a spectacular place with delicious food.
You know how we are, we always say that we are not very much into dessert, but … how to say no to a good dessert, so bases on the recommendations of the house we delight ourselves with a delicious tasting that included: the milhojas cake of dulce de leche, the delicious cookie Wanda special and for me the most impressive dish the Full Moon, a silver sphere with strawberry soup ground of black beer and mint ice cream.
